Yamashi is a crooked man and basically took advantage of me and my attempts at making something that I could put on my university application. To make a long story short, You should be using tamriel online. He is now the lead developer of Skyrim: Together. The creator of Skyrim Online did not get slapped with any legal anything He got hired by Bethesda. Everything you see in Skyrim Together is a direct product of my work.
I am the former Project Manager of Skyrim: Together. The actual mod remained available, but it was simply the case that there was no one left working on it. He disappeared off the net for a while as a result. The main author also happened to start work on a server emulator for ESO, that got shut down, and he got slapped with however many legal restrictions by ZeniMax's legal team. That's not exactly what happened, though it's a common misconception.
